About the Roof
Tin Roof is about giving musicians a place to play and a place to hang when they aren’t on stage. The tasty food, fun, eclectic environment, community of Regulars and friendly Crew have established the Roof as the place to be for musicians and non-musicians alike. Over the years, our stages have hosted the famous, the should have been famous, and everyone in between.

We are located at 1022 Senate Street in Columbia’s Vista neighborhood next to the State Capitol building, Colonial Life Arena, the Convention Center, numerous hotels & restaurants, and the University of South Carolina.

We feature live music with a mix of local, regional & national acts across all genres. Weeknights & early weekends will showcase original songwriter nights, acoustic sets during dinner along with lots of other fun, music focused special events. Weekend nights are when the Roof rocks with live bands on stage playing your favorite songs to keep the dance floor rockin’ until last call!
